I honestly just applied. I had average SAT scores and a high GPA. They helped work it out for me to get in when I was ready because I took a year off and went to community college first then transfer. They were welcoming and the transfer advisers got me all set up and handled for my first semester. Getting in was the easy part.

I simply spoke to an academic adviser and attended an orientation. Then I advised my academic adviser that I wanted to enroll. I sent in a transcript request form to transfer previous credits I had earned. When my credits were evaluated my AC was able to give me an accurate schedule of what I would be taking. I never received good grades in high school, but by completing credits and a junior college, and another university I was able to enroll without any specifications about being on academic parole.
